NETZSCH offers Employee Participation
Selb - For the first time, the NETZSCH Group in Selb is offering its employees involvement in the company in the
form of participation rights. As the management announced, this will give employees the opportunity to share in
the success of the Group. "We are expecting very interesting returns over the next three fiscal years,"
emphasized Thomas Netzsch. With the new model, the interests of the employees have been more closely tied to those
of the shareholders. According to a statement by managing partner Dr. Otto Max Schaefer, the NETZSCH Group is "on
a very good path". Over the last three years, we have achieved an average annual increase in turnover of 15%.
NETZSCH has a considerably higher equity-to-assets ratio than the average mid-sized German company. In FY 2006/2007
the business reported a consolidated turnover of 254 million Euros. This represents a 17% increase in turnover
as compared to the previous year. The NETZSCH Group has 2060 employees worldwide – this is 107 more than last year.
In FY 2007 the NETZSCH Group achieved a turnover of 254 mio. Euros. Of that, a total of 137 mio. Euros was earned
by the "Pumps" Business Unit, 77 mio Euros by the "Grinding & Dispersing" Business Unit
and 40 mio. Euros by the "Analyzing & Testing" Business Unit.
