Mechanical Assembler

NETZSCH Premier Technologies, LLC is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to work out of their Exton, PA facility. Are you mechanically inclined? Do you have experience working with various machines and hand tools? Do you enjoy working in a work shop environment working as part of a team? If so, NETZSCH Premier Technologies has the job for you.

NETZSCH Premier Technologies is a leading manufacturer of milling, mixing, dispersing, and classifying equipment. Located in Exton, PA, NETZSCH Premier Technologies is the North American subsidiary of the globally operated group of NETZSCH companies. With an extensive list of machines and a variety of processing solutions, NETZSCH is renowned as the longest standing provider of horizontal bead mills, and as an innovator in the field of fine grinding and dispersing. Specific tasks may include:

  • Reading of blueprints & interpretation of specifications & engineering instructions.
  • Plans assembly procedures, following specifications, and all associated SOP’s.
  • Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement.
  • Drills, taps, or reams holes. Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together.
  • Aligns gears, drive couplings & sub-assemblies to close tolerances.
  • Light welding and machining
  • Mechanical assembly & troubleshooting

Successful candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year experience in a similar field assembling machines; or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar field. In addition, candidates should have:

  • Knowledge on the use of various machines and hand tools and measuring devices.
  • The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, the ability to read and follow BOMs and blueprints.
  • The ability to efficiently manage time and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.
