NETZSCH at ceramitec 2009

The NETZSCH Group presented itself on this year’s Ceramitec in Munich again on a joint booth. The Business Unit Grinding & Dispersing was represented by NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH (NFT) in Selb and NETZSCH-CONDUX Mahltechnik GmbH (NCX) in Hanau.

The product range of these two companies unites a multitude of machines and systems for fine grinding for both wet and dry grinding applications and enables them to offer the best solution tailored to the customers’ needs.

The specialist for wet grinding in the micrometer nanometer range (NFT) presented state-of-the-art systems for the laboratory, for example, the MiniPur, their latest version of the MiniSeries, with wear-protected PU-design. Together with the Micro adapter set very small amounts of as little as 80 ml can be processed on this machine.

At NCX the steam jet mill Type s-Jet® aroused lively interest. With this machine particles smaller 1 micron (1 micron = 1/1000 mm) can be obtained, which is a novelty in the dry grinding field.

With the e-Jet® system a technology for energy-efficient grinding is available. Instead of the 10 bar compressed air, a standard for normal jet mills, the air is compressed to only about 3 bar with as little effort as possible. For products of low hardness this value is absolutely sufficient to obtain the desired comminution effect and a lot of energy can be saved.

After a slow start on the first day of the exhibition the interest of the visitors was very positive on the three following days. Many concrete projects make NETZSCH hope that the order books will be further filled.
