Service Manager

NETZSCH Premier Technologies, LLC is looking for a Service Manager to manage and develop the After Sales service functions, activities and processes.  This role is responsible for understanding and identifying customer’s service needs and directing the Service Engineers to accomplish both long term and short term service strategies.


  • Develop Business Field After Sales strategies and instruct, train and review strategies with Service Engineers.
  • Manage the customer repair system (MRA) at NETZSCH Exton.
  • Assign duties and develop a service schedule for staff. 
  • Maintain an open service request projects list and ensure all requests receive proper attention and response.
  • Support Service Engineers with equipment technical information.
  • Assist technically with preparing quotations.
  • Communicate with customers, outside sales staff, and other NETZSCH employees to answer technical service related questions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction after the completion of service work.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a strategy for service contracts.
  • Control costs of all service related expenses.
  • Organize training of Service Engineers and ensure their participation in all required safety training.
  • Assist After Sales Manager as needed.


  • Associates degree or equivalent from college or technical school; or twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid passport and driver's license and ability to travel approximately 10%.
  • The ability to provide quality service in a fast paced, high volume work load atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication skills; the ability to listen effectively, ask appropriate questions and promptly respond or provide status updates.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel and Word. Previous experience with manufacturing software such as SAP.
