NETZSCH Wins the 2026 “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses”
What has been built up over many years with innovative strength, responsibility, and entrepreneurial vision has now reached another milestone: The NETZSCH Group is among the winners of the 2026 “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses” and was honored as the winner of the Bavaria competition region.
The award confirms the Group’s successful course and simultaneously recognizes the commitment of its employees worldwide. With their ideas, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion, they have shaped NETZSCH for more than 150 years and are actively helping to shape the company’s future.
For the jury, NETZSCH exemplifies a company that consistently turns challenges into opportunities. In a demanding market environment, the family-owned company has for years demonstrated adaptability, stability, innovative strength, a sense of responsibility, and entrepreneurial foresight. The courage to stay committed to future-oriented initiatives even in uncertain times is a key factor in its success.
The “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses” is one of Germany’s most prestigious business awards. It has been presented by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation since 1994. Companies cannot apply on their own; instead, they must be nominated by third parties. In the 2026 competition year, under the motto “Trust Creates Opportunities,” 4,842 companies, banks, and municipalities nationwide were nominated.
For NETZSCH, the award is the result of consistent development over many years. Since 2009, the family-owned company has been nominated for the competition 17 times. Following its selection as a finalist in 2024, it has now been named the winner for the Bavaria competition region.
