18 Apprentices Start Their Careers at NETZSCH
A new chapter, new opportunities, new experiences: On September 1, 2026, 18 young talents began an exciting new stage of their lives by starting their apprenticeships at NETZSCH in Selb and Waldkraiburg.
The new apprentices represent a wide range of commercial, technical, and IT professions. Over the coming years, they will not only learn their trade but also take on responsibility from day one, gain hands-on experience, and actively contribute to shaping the future of NETZSCH. Training and developing young talent is a key success factor for NETZSCH and an important investment in the future.
WALDKRAIBURG
At the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg, 14 new apprentices were welcomed to the company. They are beginning their careers in five different apprenticeship programs: Industrial Management Assistant, Industrial Mechanic, Technical Product Designer, Warehouse Logistics Specialist, and IT Specialist for Application Development.
In the Wolfgang Netzsch Arena, Rita Buchner, Director Human Resources, welcomed the new colleagues:
"You have consciously chosen a profession, an apprenticeship, and NETZSCH, taking the first step toward your professional future. That future is not a distant point in time, it begins here and today. We aim to provide you with the tools, time, and trust you need. What you make of it is up to you. We look forward to supporting you along the way."
The apprentices then had the opportunity to get to know NETZSCH and the people behind the company. The program included topics such as occupational safety, quality management, and an introduction to the company, as well as meetings with members of the management team, the works council, and the youth and apprentice representatives. Team-building activities and opportunities to get to know one another were, of course, also part of the day.
SELB
Four new apprentices also received a warm welcome in Selb. Two Mechatronics Technicians, one Industrial Mechanic, and one Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems started their apprenticeships in the two business units located at the site.
Their first day began with a welcome from the management team. The apprentices received all the information they needed for a successful start to their professional careers and had plenty of time to get to know each other and build their first connections within NETZSCH.
The following day, guided tours of NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH and NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH provided valuable insights into the company and its diverse fields of activity. Shortly afterwards, the apprentices joined their respective departments, where they met their teams and gained their first practical experience. What started as an introduction quickly became a real glimpse into everyday working life.

Whether in Waldkraiburg or Selb, an apprenticeship at NETZSCH is about much more than learning from textbooks. It is about trying new things, gaining experience, embracing challenges, and growing together. From the very first day, apprentices become part of the NETZSCH family and contribute to shaping the company's future.
