Wish Tree Campaign 2025
NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH supports children, young people, and women in the local community.
As part of the campaign, numerous gifts were handed over to local social institutions at the company on Tuesday. Company employees presented the gifts to representatives of Diakonie Hof and the AWO women's shelter in Hochfranken.
This year, NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH in Selb, Germany has chosen a new approach to social engagement with its wish tree campaign. While customer gifts were previously raffled off and the proceeds donated, the focus was on direct personal contributions for the first time in 2025. The aim was to provide immediate support to people in the region and bring joy to those who need it most.
A wish tree was set up in the company reception area and became the visible centrepiece of the campaign in recent weeks. Employees could take on individual wishes or as a team, purchase the gifts, wrap them lovingly and place them under the tree. As part of the campaign, wishes from residential groups at Diakonie Hof and the AWO women's shelter in Hochfranken were granted. The gifts were intended for children, young people, and women in challenging life situations. A special feature of the campaign was the symbolic design of the wish tree: a wooden star was attached to the tree for each gift donated. This enabled everyone to see how many wishes had been fulfilled collectively and demonstrate the strength of commitment within the workforce. Over time, the tree became adorned not only with gifts, but also with an increasing number of stars, symbolising the community spirit that was being embraced.
Sindy Tannert-Koch and Carolin Pfeuffer (employees of NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH) and Christoph Rügert (Managing Director) took part in the presentation of the gifts. Michael Bursian and Mitacou Anthipi accepted the gifts on behalf of Diakonie Hof, and an AWO-Kreisverband Wunsiedel i.F. e.V. employee accepted them on behalf of the Hochfranken women's shelter.
The high level of employee participation and the large number of wishes fulfilled demonstrate the effectiveness of joint commitment. Through the 2025 Wish Tree campaign, NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH is demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility and regional solidarity, and helping to bring joy to children, young people and women facing challenging life circumstances.
